"Argentinien hat sich aktiv an dem gesamten Prozess der Ausarbeitung der Konvention für die Rechte der Menschen mit Behinderungen (UN-RBK) beteiligt und sowohl die Konvention als auch das Zusatzprotokoll durch das Gesetz 26.378 im Mai 2008 ratifiziert. (...) Dieser Bericht befasst sich in erstere Linie mit den politischen und institutionellen Strukturen, die einen Einfluss auf die aktuelle Situation der Menschen mit Behinderungen in Argentinien haben, und nicht mit den formalen Strukturen zur Bereitstellung von Dienstleistungen für diese Gruppe." This paper was published in a volume about the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the G-20 countries. Argentina particpated actively in the process of elaboration of the Convention and ratified the Convention as well as the Optional Protocol in 2008. This report analyses the political and institutional structures that have an influence on the situation of persons with disabilities in Argentina.
