Diese Publikation baut auf den Diskussionen zweier Konferenzen zum Thema Inklusion auf: der "International Conference on Education - Inclusive Education: The Way of the Future" der Unesco 2008 und der Konferenz "Inclusive Education: A Way of Promoting Social Cohesion" 2010, organisiert vom spanischen Bildungsministerium anläßlich der sechsmonatigen EU-Ratspräsidentschaft Spaniens. Die Beiträge nehmen regionale und interregionale Perspektiven ein und verfolgen Konsensus und Debatten rund um das Thema Inklusion infolge der zwei genannten Konferenzen. This publication builts upon the discussions of two conferences about the issue of inclusion: the "International Conference on Education - Inclusive Education: The Way of the Future" organized by the Unesco in 2008 and the conference "Inclusive Education: A Way of Promoting Social Cohesion" organized by the Spanish Ministry of Education in 2010 on the occasion of the six-month Spanish presidency of the European Union. "The contributions in this publication intend to elaborate upon [the discussions generated during these two conferences], with a view to identifying emerging consensus and debates in terms of inclusive education and curricula at the theoretical and practical levels, from interregional and regional perspectives."
