The financing of adult learning in civil society.
A European exploratory study.
[ The financing of adult learning in civil society.Report a broken link ]
Nongovernmental organizations (NGO) are among the most important providers of adult education and training programmes in many different fields. Much of the financing for these programmes comes from public sources, yet up to now there has been no source of information presenting a systematic picture of this funding and how it is channeled. This pioneering exploratory study attempts, for the first time, to review the different modalities and policies for providing public financial support for the educational work of NGOs in Europe.
