After introducing the concept of information and knowledge we focus on knowledge management with respect to knowledge communication and information quality. We introduce the German Information Center for Education with its main activities and services, especially the German Education Portal and the German Education Server (Eduserver). Finally the activities of the German Information Center for Education in the field of Web 2.0 and to enhance their information quality are mentioned. (DIPF/Autor).
