Als Ergänzung des Berufsbildungsberichts 2013 des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) bietet der Datenreport 2013 des Bundesinstituts für Berufsbildung (BIBB) zahlreiche Informationen und Analysen rund um die Entwicklung der beruflichen Bildung. In den einzelnen Kapiteln werden zentrale Indikatoren zur beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung dargestellt und Entwicklungen im Zeitverlauf aufgezeigt. Jährlich wechselnd werden Schwerpunktthemen behandelt. Im Datenreport 2013 stehen daher zwei Expertisen zum Schwerpunktthema Digitale Medien - Entgrenzung von Lernen und Arbeiten´´ zur Verfügung sowie detaillierte Informationen zu den Bundes- und Länderprogrammen zur Förderung der Berufsausbildung.

The Data Report is issued by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) and supplements the Report on Vocational Education and Training published by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) by providing information and analysis relating to various aspects of the development of vocational education and training. The Data Report is to accompany the Report on Vocational Education and Training and is published annually. Preparation is based on a recommendation made by the BIBB Board in December 2007 that the Report on Vocational Education and Training should be restructured and divided into two parts: a policy section and a data section for which BIBB adopts responsibility. The individual chapters present central indicators relating to initial and continuing vocational education and training and illustrate the developments which have taken place over time. Different main thematic focuses are addressed every year. The Data Report also covers vocational training funding programmes and international indicators and benchmarks. An English version containing a selection of the main findings from the Data Report is available.
