Students will investigate the different types of terrorism and explore what makes someone a terrorist as well as different ideas and opinions about terrorism from a historical perspective (tes 2021).

The Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT) is an NGO designed to prevent terrorists and violent extremists from exploiting digital platforms (2022). 

In this New York Times lesson, students consider the presence of Al Qaeda in various countries. Working in groups, they investigate key people, places and institutions related to Al Qaeda and counterterrorism efforts, and create a maps or diagrams (2010).
