This website of the U.S. department of Education provides the text of the law and additional information and materials to the Parts B and C of the "Individuals with Disabilities Education Act" (IDEA). Part B deals with Children and youth (ages 3-21), Part C with Infants and toddlers (birth-2). The website provides information on the implementation of the law, guidelines and training courses for teachers and educators, support for parents and more.
IDEA is a federal statute that regulates the (right to) education of people (children) with disabilities.The first version of this statute was adopted in 1975 under the title "Education for All Handicapped Children Act (EAHCA)". The statute has been amended several times since then. The version linked here is the amended version of 2004, but only Part B and C of it. You will find a full version of the law with all four Parts A, B, C, D on the website of the Center for Parent Information and Resources.
