"Inclusion International (II) and the Kenyan Association for the Intellectually Handicapped (KAIH) regret to announce that we have been forced to cancel the 16th World Congress of Inclusion International in Nairobi. The recent attacks on May 17th have increased concerns of delegates regarding safety and there have been many cancellations, the result being that the event is not viable. The Officers and Board of II and KAIH do not take this decision lightly as we have been committed to supporting people with intellectual disabilities and their families in Kenya and throughout Africa.
