The major goal of the Forum is to develop a shared understanding of ways to develop further a European dimension for quality assurance. Specifically, the objectives are: To establish a European forum for dialogue between internal and external QA actors (universities, students and QA agencies) in order to reach consensus on how internal and external QA developments must adapt to the changing HE landscape; To promote a sound approach to QA by encouraging internal quality developments in HEIs and an appropriate balance between the implementation of the required tools to assure quality and the need to foster creativity in research and education; To foster research focused on QA.
