Listening may be a passive skill but it demands active concentration and sorting skills. In this workshop we will listen in to the different tasks found in the Cambridge FCE and CAE listening tests and develop ways of teaching our students not only how to listen but what to listen for. The afternoon is aimed at teachers already preparing students for either of these levels or planning to do so in future, but will also be useful for improving general listening skills and you will have useful material to take away.
