The ANGEL Conference 2019 is a key UK event for those working in, or with an interest in, Global Education research. It will also function as a gathering for members of the Academic Network on Global Education & Learning.The Conference is aimed at academics, researchers, policy-makers and practitioners from around the world and papers and presentations will cover all sectors of education, evidence from empirical based research as well as discussion on approaches to building more effective connections between researchers and policy-makers - building on the research and policy dialogue that has been led by Global Education Network Europe (GENE), in partnership with DERC. In addition, all plenary sessions will include discussions on how to take forward the themes addressed by the keynote speakers in developing and implanting policies, informing research and helping to improve the quality of educational practice.
