Bullying is widely regarded as a particularly destructive form of aggression characterised by psychological, verbal or physical violence perpetrated by a group towards a vulnerable victim. Research of the recent years confirms that the phenomenon of bullying has worryingly increased among the pre-adolescents. Further, researchers argue that the family, peers, the school and the broader social context play an influential role in the development of bullying behaviour. Starting from these premises, the project aims to help to develop coping and empowering strategies to effectively meet the children¬ís and young people¬ís need ¬ďto be listened to, guided and protected¬Ē. On behalf of the project partners the Y.E.S. Forum is inviting to the final conference of the ATTEMPT project. A strong accent is put on exchange of concepts and experiences in fighting bullying. In workshops participants will have the opportunity to get a deeper insight into the methods applied during the two years project. The conference is open for interested people, especially educators, school administrators, school counsellors, school social workers, school psychologists, and any other professionals who work with children and young people.
