This three-day conference will offer a special opportunity to present and discuss in-depth analyses of the PISA data in an international context. It aims to bring together researchers and other stakeholders in PISA and addresses researchers of different academic disciplines from all participating countries.

A particular focus of the conference will be on issues concerning the quality and improvement of the assessment, and an important outcome will be to identify issues that may feed into an agenda for future research and development activities. The conference will convene internationally leading experts from various relevant areas that work with PISA data, inform participants about state-of-the-art research on PISA and offer an opportunity and forum for discussion and exchange about future research and the development of PISA on a multilateral level.

A further feature of the conference will be a specific training session which is designed to disseminate competence on the data sets and the secondary analyses.
