FCE and CAE are Cambridge ESOL Examinations, set at the levels B2 and C1 of the CEF. These exams are very suitable for pupils at “Gymnasien”. There will be an overview of the two exams and information on task types and assessment criteria as well as some teaching suggestions. Over the last few years, Cambridge ESOL has carried out a through review of the FCE and CAE examinations, two of the world’s best known exams for learners of English. As a result of this review, a number of updates to the exams has been introduced in December 2008. The seminar will give a detailed presentation of each part of the updated exams, so that you know exactly what to cover in your preparation for December 2008. In order to register for the seminar or if you have any queries, please contact Gerd Dahlbuedding at dahlbuedding@dbsconsulting.net. For Online Registration please visit www.cambridgeesol.org/events. The seminar is free of charge. We are looking forward to your participation!
