The ECPR General Conference is special; it brings together colleagues old and new and showcases the very best new research across our discipline. It also provides a space for roundtables on key topics of the day, opportunities to discuss publishing projects with editors, and social and networking spaces.
There are a great number of opportunities (as well as challenges) in adapting the tried and tested formula of a physical conference to a digital environment for the first time. Over the past few months we have been researching and testing multiple platforms; learning from the experiences of others; and most importantly listening to our membership, so we can create as authentic a conference experience for everyone as possible.
