Europe; Germany; Austria; Turkey; Italy; Lithuania
"NIILS explores how informal and non-conventional learning spaces are used in higher education, in different countries and regions. Recommendations and guidelines for users are developed to promote inclusive informal learning environments that are conducive to learning and well-being." NIILS was a project co-financed by the European Union, running from 2022 to 2024. The project coordination was handled by the University for Continuing Education Krems, Austria. Other project partners came from Germany, Italy, Lithuania, and Turkey. The project website provides information about the project and events, as well as project results, often in full text format. Among other things, it features a comparative "comparative country context report on the availability and infrastructure of informal learning spaces" in the participating partner countries.
