The congress will take place in Jena, Germany, from July 25 to 27, 2018. Optional pre-conference-workshops will be held on July 24, 2018. The European Congress of Methodology is organized biennially by the European Association of Methodology (EAM), a society established in 2004, which currently brings together a large number of researchers from all over the world. The aim is to offer an opportunity for exchange ideas for those scientists developing new methods and those empirical researchers who are interested in applying new methods in their own empirical research. Since its inception in 2004, the EAM-congress has been held together with the biennial conference of the Society for Multivariate Analysis in the Behavioral Sciences (SMABS), which on this occasion will have its 31th conference.
