The annual congress had about 800 participants in 2012 and hence is one of the biggest of its kind in the educational field in Brazil. A focus is on "Educação básica" (basic / primary education). Among others, the following topics will be discussed: education and sports, career management, educational management, teacher training and professionalization, social media, communication and bullying (Educação e Esporte, Gestão de Carreira, Gestão Educacional, Formação e Valorização do Professor, Mídias Sociais, Comunicação e Bullying).
