The counselling profession is in various stages of development in  different cultural settings and in most countries it is growing and evolving. Given changes in contextual conditions and the evolving nature of the counselling profession around the world, it is vital that there is ongoing communication among counselling researchers and professionals to better serve the needs of the clients and communities that we serve.The following sub-themes will guide the presentations and discussions at the conference:
