The Innovation Portal

This portal presents projects and model programmes by the Federal Republic of Germany and its states that are aimed at innovative measures in educational policy, as well as relevant projects launched by free-lance organizations (e.g. foundations) and European programmes that bear a significance to reform policies.

The database "Innovative Projekte und Programme von Bund und Ländern zur Qualitätsentwicklung des Bildungssystems" (Innovative Projects and Programmes by the Federal Government and the States aimed at the Development of Quality in Education) lies at the heart of the web service (currently only awailable in German). It is integrated into a comprehensive context of further thematically relevant information.
As to its contents, the portal addresses all structural levels of education, from pre-primary education to vocational education and higher education.
The database is regularly enhanced and updated. It currently records 1364 entries.

The main target group of this service are German educational administrators at national and state level, the information system is intended to provide them with a better and quicker insight into reform measures.
The system is integrated into the German Education Server so that it can be accessed by the interested professional public as well as administrative organs.
