Diese Veröffentlichung bietet einen Überblick über die Entwicklung der Organisation des Hochschulbereichs in den 45 Unterzeichnerstaaten der Bologna-Erklärung zum Zeitpunkt der Konferenz in London (Mai 2007). Sie bietet eine Bestandsaufnahme im Hinblick auf die einzelnen Zielsetzungen des Prozesses zur Schaffung eines europäischen Hochschulraums bis zum Jahr 2010: Annahme des dreistufigen Studiensystems (Bachelor/Master/Doktorat), Einführung des Europäischen Systems zur Anrechnung, Übertragung und Akkumulierung von Studienleistungen (ECTS), Ausstellung des Diploma Supplement, Anerkennung von gemeinsamen Abschlüssen, Einrichtung von nationalen Qualifikationsrahmen und Entwicklung der Qualitätssicherung in der Hochschulbildung. Vorgestellt werden außerdem die Fördermaßnahmen, die auf der nationalen Ebene eingerichtet wurden, um die Anpassung des Hochschulwesens an die Zielsetzungen des Bologna-Prozesses zu erleichtern. This publication reviews trends in the organisation of higher education in the 45 countries signatory to the Bologna Declaration at the time of the London Conference (May 2007). It reports on each of the aims of the Bologna Process for the establishment of a European higher education area by 2010, namely adoption of a three-cycle structure (Bachelor/Master/Doctorate), introduction of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), the provision of the Diploma Supplement, the recognition of joint degrees, the introduction of national qualifications frameworks and the development of quality assurance in higher education.
