Durch die Behindertenrechtskonvention der Vereinten Nationen wird eine völkerrechtlich bindende Grundlage bezüglich der Teilhabe an Bildung geschaffen. Diese wird national und lokal in verschiedenen Staaten unterschiedlich rezipiert und vor dem Hintergrund der je spezifischen kulturellen, politischen und sozialen Rahmenbedingungen spezifisch in die Praxis übersetzt. Eine Aufgabe international angelegter Inklusionsforschung ist es, die internationale Diffusion und lokale Rekontextualisierung des globalen Paradigmas inklusiver Bildung zu analysieren und in ihrer Komplexität und in ihren Ambivalenzen sichtbar zu machen. Zu dieser Aufgabe soll mit dieser Ausgabe 39(3), 2016 der Zeitschrift für internationale Bildungsforschung und Entwicklungspädagogik (ZEP) ein Beitrag geleistet werden. The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities created a binding basis for the participation in education under international law. Nevertheless, the Convention is received differently on a national and a local level in different countries. It is also put into practice in different ways, according to cultural, political and social conditions. Therefore, it is a challenge for international research on inclusion to analyse the international diffusion and local recontextualisation of the global paradigm of inclusive education and to make them visible in their complexity and ambivalence. This issue 39(3), 2016 of the "Journal for International Research in Education and Develoment Pedagogy" (Zeitschrift für internationale Bildungsforschung und Entwicklungspädagogik - ZEP) aims at contributing to this challenge.
