Die Regierung von Gabun entschied sich für ein nationales System mit generellem Informationszugang bei computerbasierten Technologien. Dennoch werden Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien bisher kaum in das Bildungssystem aktiv integriert. Dieser kurze Länderbericht bietet einen allgemeinen Überblick über aktuelle Aktivitäten bezüglich der Informationstechnologien und deren möglichen Gebrauch im Bildungssektor. Dabei muss berücksichtigt werden, dass es sich hierbei um eine Momentaufnahme handelt, die auf Grund der schnellen Wandlungsprozesse im Kommunikations- und Informationsbereich als solche einzuordnen ist.
